Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is the Mexican American journalist. She currently works for ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and, occasionally, host SportsNation. The first time she worked at ESPN in the year 2016. She is the child of the journalist on television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins is bi-lingual and has been since her age of nine. Her ability in this area was instrumental in securing her first job at Univision, Miami. She could work with producers from across the country on programs such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. They hired her as an reporter at the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate after that. She worked as a journalist on KNVO TV 48 Univision in Rio Grande Valley Texas. In addition to reporting on issues related to immigration and drug trafficking from both sides the border of Mexico-Texas, she reported for newscasts at 5 p.m. Spanish newscast a reporter and later anchor of nine p.m. newscast, which was in English as well as an anchor for the 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. She was born November 22 1984 at Mexico City. There is also a sister. The family moved to Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. They divorced soon afterwards and in 1995 she tied the knot with an naval designer by the name of Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away in 2006 due to kidney cancer. She resided at Canton Ohio with her older sister in the summertime, in which she was offered an opportunity to work. Antonietta was at the end of her senior year in high school, but she was very aware of her professional goals. She went to Mount Union University in order to decide if it would be a good fit for her. She discovered that she liked the campus, and the university offered the degree she was looking for. After graduation, she enrolled at the university with a major in media studies. She developed a long-lasting relationship with her teacher Mark Bergmann who was the director of WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was a part. His enthusiasm for journalism and her self-confidence prompted her. Herself was determined to achieve his standards and not let him down.
